In his role heading the various business units within Globacom, Samer expounds the vision, mission, and growth objectives of all stakeholders. Samer’s enterprising acumen coupled with 20+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of technology in the global technology services industry, serve as the foundation of firms cutting edge world-class technology products and consulting services.
Along with steering the growth charters aligned to his vision, Samer also focuses on organic and inorganic opportunities of scaling Globacom to become one of the world’s most admired technology solutions company in select areas of business, supporting growth through Customer Engagement and Digital Transformation. Being an ardent believer in nurturing distinguished talent, Samer has been able to build successful businesses as a serial entrepreneur in the global tech industry.
Prior to Globacom, Samer was CIO of SHUAA Capital Group for more than a decade. Before that, he played different leadership roles in IT & business in various industries, such as UAE-based GIBCA Group, as well as in USPCI a Union Pacific subsidiary, Antenna Products Corporation, and Howe-Baker Engineers in the US.
Samer has a Masters of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as an MBA from C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.

Shashwat is spearheading Globacom Energy, where he formulates and drives the overall business strategy for the division.
With extensive experience in consulting and solution designing with a number of privately and state owned utilities, he has successfully driven IT transformation projects mainly for Utility Billing and Settlement, Meter Data Management and Asset Management.
Shashwat combines his immense on-field experience and exposure to turnkey projects in the power industry with software development models, thereby delivering sustainable and strategic IT transformation systems for Globacom clients. His approach of coupling customer wants with industry best practices, has enabled him to deliver systems which are both highly intuitive and highly complex. Shashwat has a knack for developing strong business relationships and also excels in building outstanding teams.
Shashwat has an Electrical Engineering degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Mark Kerry, Head of Consulting
MARK KERRY
HEAD OF CONSULTING
Mark is a business and technology consulting executive with special expertise in developing markets. He brings more than twenty five years of experience in the technology sector. He has worked across multiple sectors including government, defense, financial services and energy and utilities. Mark has been instrumental in the formation of key Globacom capabilities in the domains of regulatory management systems and energy and utilities.
Mark believes in a consultative approach to the resolution of critical business needs through process and technology improvement in different industry specific business processes. Before joining Globacom, Mark worked with Logica (now part of CGI) in consulting and business development leadership roles. His career has included engagements in Europe and the Middle East.
Mark has a Masters of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK.
